There are many ways to build mobile applications, including a growing number of cross-platform frameworks, such as PhoneGap, Sencha Touch, Titanium, jQuery Mobile, Kendo UI, and many others. But cross-platform frameworks don’t let you take advantage of new Android features, and their interfaces, aimed mainly at iOS users, tend to follow iOS conventions.
