To create an Android virtual device, follow these steps.
1. In Eclipse, select Window > AVD Manager from the main menu.
2. Click New.
3. Create a new AVD named JellyBean targeting Android version 4.2 and emulating a Nexus S device, using Figure 3.2 as a reference. Make sure you enable the Snapshot option, as shown in the figure, which saves the AVD state in memory and makes subsequent launches of the AVD much faster.
