So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Integrating Photos into an Android Application
Sharing photos is a must-have feature for the On Your Bike app. Thankfully, almost all Android devices have a camera that allows users to take pictures and video, so it is fairly straightforward to get images.
There are several ways you can integrate the camera. You can implement taking photos from the On Your Bike app by creating an image capture intent and launching the default camera activity. This requires much less code than directly controlling the device’s camera, although that also is possible. Controlling the device’s camera can be very useful if you want to build an app that integrates the camera.
