Much of the growth of Android is outside the United States, so it’s important that your app support multiple locations. It’s also important to support older versions of the Android operating system, because many devices, especially outside the United States, may not run the latest version of Android.
You can support multiple languages by using resource qualifiers in the resource XML file, which can be used not only for languages but also for regions. Generally, the best way to obtain translations is to hire a translation service or do it yourself. Google provides a translation kit, but the results are not always optimal.
