You can submit your Android application to both Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. Both options are important for marketing your app. Google Play has a larger number of apps, but the Amazon Appstore has an approval process and may have higher-quality apps. The Amazon Appstore also has the power of Amazon.com behind it, so you can leverage its powerful marketing capabilities, such as “What do customers buy after buying this application?” In addition, the Kindle brand of devices has access only to the Amazon Appstore, so using the store opens up all these devices for your app. Many Android devices already have Google Play installed, however, and it can be difficult for a consumer to install the Amazon Appstore.
