I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Enabling Backward Compatibility
In the many releases of the Android operating system over the past few years, in some cases operators have been able to push out updates. This, combined with the large range of phones out there, means that you need to make your app support a wide range of Android versions. Android is built with backward compatibility in mind, so with a little care and some testing you can make your app backward compatible as well. Throughout the previous chapters, you have used various techniques to make the app work on the widest possible range of Android versions and devices.
