It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Going Home
It is common practice in Android applications to make the app return to the home activity when the user touches the application icon on the action bar. Let’s explore how to make the application return “home.”
1. Override the onOptionsItemSelected method in SettingsActivity in exactly the same way as you did in TimerActivity. Perform a switch on the ID of android.R.id.home. Inside this case, call a method named gotoHome. Run Quick fix to create this method (see Listing 5.17).
