It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Storing GPS Data
To see how far users have biked, it makes sense to store the location of each trip in the SQLite database (see Chapter 5). By using the database, you will allow the On Your Bike application to access all the trip data each time the app is restarted. This means that there will be a record of all trips.
