The Android SDK is the first of the tools required for Android development. It contains the API libraries and tools necessary to build, test, and debug apps for Android. When a new version of the platform is released, you use the SDK Manager to update these tools and APIs.
Now proceed with the installation.
1. Visit the Android SDK download site: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html.
2. Expand the Use an Existing IDE section, and click the Download the SDK Tools for Windows button.
3. Save the file, and launch the installer.
