Now let’s look at the most common views and shortcuts you’ll use as you develop Android applications. If you’re familiar with Eclipse, you can skip this section.
Eclipse provides different perspectives depending on the type of task or project you’re working on. A perspective offers different views. To see the perspectives that come with Eclipse, select the Window > Open Perspective > Other. The Open Perspective dialog box appears.
In this dialog box, you can select a specific perspective for your project. For example, if you wanted to debug your Java code, you would open the Debug perspective. The default perspective is Java. There is no Android perspective, because the default perspective is sufficient. ...
