So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Introducing Google Play
There were more than 50 billion downloads of applications from the Google Play store as of July 2013, and of the many marketplaces for Android applications, the largest is Google Play, shown in Figure 1.4. Most Android devices come installed with the Google Play store. Those devices that do not have it have not been approved by Google or else the manufacturer (for example, Amazon, with the Kindle Fire) does not allow it.
