It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

You can optimize applications for Android, which can run on many different devices. Various terminologies are used for defining device screens, including density and resolution. The relationship between screen size, density, and resolution is such that, as long as density and resolution are increased by the same amount, screen size will remain unchanged.
