I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
j:set
The j:set tag is used to set a variable and its value. It accepts the following attributes:
- var: The name of the variable
- value: The value of the variable. This is a Jelly expression and can be used to include variables that contain ${jvar_curly_brackets} and $[jvar_square_brackets]
- defaultValue: If the value evaluates to null or is empty, then the value specified in the defaultValue attribute is set to the variable
For example:
