When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Relationships
When we open a record in the detailed view, we have an option to show related lists. Any two tables can have a logical relationship defined within the platform and appear as a parent/child pair via a related list. The relationship between two arbitrary tables can be used to create a related list that appears in the detail view of the form and displays a list of related records.
Examples of relationships that come defined in the platform include the following:
- Incidents by same callers: This relationship is defined in the incidents table, and it displays a related list to show other incidents opened by the same caller
- Member of groups: This relationship is applied to the users (sys_user) table and queries records from the groups ...
