I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we learned how to create custom applications. We learned how application scopes can ensure developers do not make changes to artifacts belonging to a different application and allow artifacts belonging to other scopes access to data. We also learned about the concept of the private and global application scope.
In the next chapter, we will learn how to create custom modules and how to customize the layout of a form and add custom fields to a table.
