When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Limitations of the undelete feature
There are some limitations of the undelete feature. It only works for tables that audit deletions, that is, tracks deletion. The following are the limitations of the restore deleted record feature:
- Record deletions are not tracked for tables with the no_audit_delete=true dictionary attribute
- Record deletions from tables with a sys prefix are also not tracked by default
- Any attachments associated with the record are not restored when the record is restored
- References are restored only if the reference field is on an audited table
We can overcome some of these limitations, such as restoring configuration record such as, Business Rule, and Script Includes, using the app creator.
