Application picker

Before we dig deep in the applications, let us ensure that we have our application picker visible in the top banner frame. The application picker allows us to quickly identify and switch the application scope we are currently working on. If not, just as we discussed in Chapter 1, Introduction to ServiceNow, we can make it visible using the System Settings dialog box, as shown in the following screenshot:

Marking the Show application picker in header checkbox as true will show the application picker drop-down field in the banner frame, as shown in the following screenshot:
