Service-Now is a cloud-based tool. The entire application infrastructure is maintained by Service-Now and many customers prefer to be in the Service-Now environment because of the cost constraint, but if a customer's security standards are very high, then Service-Now also gives an option to the client to opt for hosting Service-Now in their own environment.
