So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understand web services
Out of box, service-now provide channels to communicate with outside world. Service-now is capable enough to communicate over HTTP based web services. It’s is advisable to use MID (Management, Instrumentation, and Discovery) to communicate to outside world as MID server communicate over HTTP to communicate to service-now instances.
Getting ready
To step through this recipe, you should have active instance and valid credentials with admin/web services role.
How to do it...
- Open any standard web browser and type instance address.
- Login in service-now instance with valid credentials.
- On left hand side in search box, type
