I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is IIS?
IIS is Microsoft's web server, which provides reliable, manageable, and scalable web applications. IIS supports communication protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP, and NNTP for communication between the browser and the web server. For dynamic content on the server side, Microsoft has developed scripting technology called Active Server Pages (ASP).
In IIS version 10, Microsoft has significantly increased security with the support for scripts that take a long time to execute, including HTTP/2. Add to this Microsoft Edge, a new browser introduced with Windows 10.
