I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Filtering Event Viewer logs
To filter the Event Viewer logs in Windows Server 2019, complete the following steps:
- Press the Windows key + R, enter eventvwr.msc, and then press Enter.
- Expand Windows Logs and select the log type that you want to filter.
- In the Actions pane, click on Filter Current Log..., as shown in Figure 11.21:

- In the Filter Current Log window, set the filtering criteria to get the desired results.
- Click on OK to close the Filter Current Log window.
Finally, let's change the default logs location.
