I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding physical ports
It is a characteristic of servers to have multiple ports. This is due to the role that the servers play in computer networks. Some of the ports (see Figure 10.9) we encounter at the back of servers include AC power connectors, gigabit Ethernet ports, PCIe ports, USB ports, HD-15 video connectors, management ports, and (although rarely seen nowadays) legacy ports such as serial ports, parallel ports, and PS/2 ports:
