So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding the child domain
To understand the child domain, let's illustrate it with the example from Figure 5.7. Dautti.local and ITTrainings.local are both tree domains; however, Dautti.local represents a forest since that is the root domain. From that, Programming.Dautti.local represents a child domain of the Dautti.local tree domain.
To set up a child domain in Windows Server 2019, you can use the Active Directory Domain Services Configuration Wizard (see Figure 5.6):
