So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What are OUs?
As mentioned earlier, to ease the administration of its objects, AD uses OUs. In general, users, groups, computers, and other organizational units are placed within OUs. Usually, organizations create OUs to mirror their organizational business structures. Regardless of the number of tree domains in a forest, each domain can have its own OU hierarchy (see Figure 5.16):

To make it clear what the OUs are, try associating them with the concept of folders in File Explorer. Now, let's understand what default containers are.
