I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Changing the default logs location
To change the default logs location in Windows Server 2019, complete the following steps:
- Press the Windows key + R, enter regedit, and then press Enter.
- Locate the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\System.
- Within the System folder, open the File value, enter the new path in the Value data text box, as shown in Figure 11.22, and then click on OK:

- Locate HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application to change the default location for application logs.
