So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ATA, PATA, SATA, and SCSI interfaces
When acronyms such as ATA, PATA, SATA, and SCSI are mentioned, then we are opening a discussion about the interfaces that are used to connect storage devices and peripherals to computers. ATA, also known as Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE), is a legacy interface that is used to connect HDDs, optical disc drives, floppy disk drives, and related storage technologies to computers.
