In today's technological trends, in which a user needs to log in to different environments to access applications, websites, and other services, the traditional format of authentication (such as username and password) is neither viable nor secure. The same applies to Microsoft's OSes and services. Therefore, Microsoft has introduced Microsoft Passport, which enables users to authenticate without a password.
