What is FTP?
FTP does exactly what its name indicates. FTP transfers files from computer to computer, computer to server, or vice versa, on a LAN or WAN (or the internet).
To set up an FTP server in Windows Server 2019, first, you need to add Web Server Role (IIS) as a role and then FTP Server as a role service (see Figure 6.6):
