System administrators can use folder redirection to redirect the folder on a local computer, or a shared folder on a network, to a new location. With folder redirection, the data that is stored on the server can be accessed by users in a similar fashion to how it would be if it was stored on a local computer.
In Windows Server 2019, you can create a Group Policy Object (GPO), as shown in Figure 11.16, to redirect a folder. The steps are as follows:
