So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Local Group Policy Editor
While the Group Policy Management console is used to deploy GPOs in domain environments, Local Group Policy Editor is used to deploy GPOs on local servers that are not yet domain members.
To access the Local Group Policy Editor in Windows Server 2019, complete the following steps:
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- In the Run dialog box, enter gpedit.msc and press OK.
- The Local Group Policy Editor opens up, as shown in Figure 7.7:
