behavior, particularly after chaos has been reached, accommodating the new
demands on the system. The example of an organization that has undergone
bifurcation cascade demonstrates this attribute.
Chaotic systems are unpredictable. Unpredictability is the inability to
state with certainty the next state of a system given the knowledge of its
present state. One aspect of unpredictability, defined from a chaos theory
perspective, is similar in a sense to that conveyed by Heisenberg’s uncer-
tainty principle—that is, everything about a system cannot be known with
absolute certainty.
9.8.2 Hybridization
When we can model a chaotic system, it can be used to analyze the time
series of the system.
