The knowledge-based system is developed in conjunction with a general

editor or knowledge acquisition tool. The editor facilitates gathering the

expert’s knowledge by asking interactive questions, considering the answers

given, and storing the appropriate content in the knowledge base. The edi-

tor may achieve this using the standard knowledge acquisition techniques.
