When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Follow the steps for connecting to an Ethernet network first, and then use the AirPort Setup Assistant (
/Applications/Utilities). The settings you’ve applied for your regular network will be applied to your AirPort settings.- Quickly switch to an AirPort network after disconnecting the Ethernet cable from my iBook?
System Preferences→Network→Show→Network Port Configurations. Click on the checkboxes next to the network ports you want to enable, and drag the ports in the list to place them in the order in which you’re most likely to connect to them. (The Automatic location should do this for you.)
- Share my modem or Ethernet connection with other AirPort-equipped Macs?
System Preferences→Sharing→Internet panel; click on the Start button to turn Internet sharing on
- Display the AirPort strength meter in the menu bar?
System Preferences→Network→AirPort→select the checkbox next to “Show AirPort status in menu bar”
- Enable a computer to set up AirPort networks?
System Preferences→Network→AirPort→select the checkbox next to “Allow this computer to create networks”
