STEP 1: WIRING OUR JOYSTICKS BACK IN
Just as in our previous joystick examples, we have four connections we
need to make (Figure
6-11
). The positive voltage pin of our joystick will
be connected to the 5 V pin on our Arduino through the power rails of
our breadboard, the GND pin will be connected to the GND rail of the
breadboard, and the x and y pins of the joystick will be connected to the A0
and A1 pins on our Arduino.
Now that we have wired all the components we’ll need, the final step will be
to add the code we used to read the values of our joystick back in and use
those values to manipulate the ...
