benefits when compared to our first robot. Now
that we have both motors at the base of the system,
this allows for a much lower weight nearer the end
effector, increasing the overall efficiency of
the robotic-arm system. Additionally, the
end effector is now supported from two
sides, making the tip of the robotic arm
much sturdier.
The mix of active and passive joints with our
new design means that if we want to effectively
control our robot, we need to be able to move
