WHAT ARE WE BUILDING?
In this project, we will begin by creating a simple rotary-encoder circuit.
Then we will write a quick Arduino sketch to read our rotary-encoder data,
just as we did for our previous methods of input. Thanks to the rotary
encoder’s ability to freely rotate 360 degrees, it’s a useful and accurate
method of input for robotic-arm projects.
Our first step will be wiring the encoder into our robotic-arm circuit.
Thankfully, we can keep all our motor wiring the same and do not need to
