Once we tackled the world of 2D inverse
kinematics, we moved on to assembling and
programming a three-axis robotic arm. This
is a fanatic’s place to start. That said, in more
industrial settings, two of the most popular
configurations of general-purpose robotic arms
are five-DOF and six-DOF designs (Figure
10-2
