Feedback vs. Desired Outcomes
—In most organizations, the press of time gets in the way of
learning from our experiences. We finish the task at hand and rush on to the next task, oblivious
to true, indepth learnings by all participants in the task. In its place, each person takes their own
perceptions with them to the next task, without checking their perceptions for accuracy.
