When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Truth 49. Keep a sense of humor
Some older kids were in the habit of offering a young and gullible sibling the choice between a nickel and a dime. Every time the kids did this, the younger sibling chose the nickel, "because it's bigger."
One day, a friend took the poor kid aside and asked, "Don't you know that a dime's worth more than a nickel?"
The kid answered, "Yeah, but if I picked the dime they'd stop doing it!"29
Decisions can be complex and stressful, but always try to approach decision making with a healthy sense of humor. If you take your decisions too seriously, you may tend to overanalyze and procrastinate, which could erode your ability to make a good decision.
