When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Truth 3. Service awards aren't what they used to be
You have been with the company for several years, having made some friends along the way. You have learned some new tricks and stayed current with both functional and technological trends. Your performance reviews have always been good, and in many cases, exceeded expectations. You enjoy most of your coworkers, and you genuinely like your boss. Your work is gratifying, and you take pride in your contributions.
But somewhere in the back of your mind, despite the favorable job conditions and relationships, with change in the wind, you're a bit unsettled. You're beginning to feel the itch to move on.
