XSL (eXtensible Style Language) is a style sheet technology designed specifically for XML. In many ways, XSL accomplishes the same things that CSS does. However, XSL goes much further than CSS in manipulating the logical structure of XML documents. This additional power comes at a cost; XSL includes some high-powered programmatic constructs that can be complex. In addition to being harder to learn than CSS, XSL currently suffers from being too new.
