I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Electronic commerce on the Web is one of the areas where XML is expected to be the most valuable. The kinds of supply chain integration problems that previously were addressed by EDI are now getting fresh looks from numerous players and in the context of a variety of markets.
The EDI community has a lot to teach the XML community, but it's unclear whether they will be the source of the Internet-based solutions to those problems. Many Web developers who are addressing electronic commerce are making it a point to learn from what EDI has achieved.
