I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Among the many areas of the Web that are slowly inching toward standardization, privacy policies are of particular interest to users. No one likes to give out personal information without knowing exactly how it is going to be used. Privacy policies force Web sites to be up-front about their usage of personal information, which allows users to make informed decisions about whether to provide such information. The W3C created the P3P to help usher in standardized privacy policies. The basic premise is that a Web site provides a privacy policy, and the user then determines which information to share with the site. XML provides a means of automating the declaration of privacy policies.
