For the record, here is a breakdown of the various types of DSOs available. The simplest DSO is the TDC DSO, and I will go over how to use it a little later in "Understanding the Tabular Data Control (TDC)." Once you understand the TDC DSO, you will learn how to use the XML DSO.
The TDC is a simple DSO that provides access to delimited text files. This is the most basic of the DSOs. The following are reasons that you might want to use the TDC DSO:
