Inside the CDF Vocabulary
Now that you have a basic understanding of Active Channels, let's dig into the technology that makes it work: CDF. As you learned earlier in the chapter, CDF stands for Channel Definition Format, which means that it provides an XML vocabulary for describing Web content channels. Like all XML vocabularies, CDF includes a document type definition (DTD) that defines the structure and semantics of the CDF vocabulary.
