How to do it...

Perform these steps to create an RPT:

1. Open AD FS Management (Microsoft.IdentityServer.msc).
2. In the right-hand Actions pane or from the Action menu, follow the Add Relying Party Trust… link. The Add Relying Party Trust Wizard window appears:

3. On the Welcome screen, click Claims aware and then click Start.
4. Choose between these three options:
   • Import data about the relying party published online or on a local network: Type the Federation metadata address (host name or URL) in the required field.
   • Import data about the relying party from a file: Type the Federation metadata file location in the required field.
