In a multi-domain Active Directory forest, copying a GPO between the Group Policy Objects node in one domain to the Group Policy Objects node in another domain is a sure way to keep settings identical across domains. It is especially useful in networking environments consisting of development, testing, acceptance, and production environments to stage GPOs.
