I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using the Active Directory Administrative Center
Follow these steps to create and apply a fine-grained password and account lock-out policy in the Active Directory Administrative Center:
- Open the Active Directory Administrative Center (dsac.exe).
- In the left navigation window, switch to Tree view.
- Navigate to the Password Settings Container under the System container:
- Right-click the Password Settings Container and select New and then Password Settings from the menu. The Create Password Settings screen appears.
- In the Create Password Settings screen, in the Password Settings section, fill in values for the Name and Precedence fields.
