Using Active Directory Sites and Services

To create an Active Directory site link with default settings using Active Directory Sites and Services, perform these steps:

1. Open Active Directory Sites and Services (dssite.msc).
2. In the left navigation pane, expand the Sites node.
3. In the left navigation pane, expand the Inter-Site Transports node.
4. Right-click the IP node and click New Site link….
5. The New Object - Site window appears.
6. Type a logical name for the Active Directory site link in the Name: field.
7. In the Sites not in this site link field, select two Active Directory sites for this Active Directory site link. Click Add.
8. Click the OK button to create the Active Directory site link.
