I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Managing the service account connecting to Active Directory
Perform these steps to change the password for the service account that connects to the on-premises Active Directory:
- Open Azure AD Connects Synchronization Service from the Start Menu. The Synchronization Service Manager window appears.
- Go to the Connectors tab.
- Select an AD Connector.
- From the Actions menu, select Properties. The Connect to Active Directory Forest popup window appears.
- In the popup window, enter the new password for the service account.
- Click OK.
- Close the Synchronization Service Manager window.
- Open Services (services.msc).
- Select the Azure AD Connect Synchronization Service.
- Right-click the service and select Restart from the menu.
